If this seems like an insult, I’m guilty as charged.
It’s not an insult to you personally, but it is an insult to the status quo that so many (far too many) advisers are still following and continuing to accept.
I don’t care if you’re offended by the question – I’m more interested in you asking that question of your own firm…
“Does my benefits firm deserve to grow?”
Let’s ask it another way…
“Is my firm providing legitimate value far beyond what I’m being compensated?”
“Am I willing to stop taking commissions and just work on fees?”
“Am I good enough to work on performance-based fees?”
“Is my practice able to consistently produce real, meaningful, measurable positive results for the client?”
I can tell you that NextGeneration Benefit Advisers can quickly and confidently answer all those questions with “YES!”
If you haven’t been bothered to evolve into a new breed of adviser, or you haven’t finished your reinvention, then I submit your firm may not deserve the very growth you desire so much.
